South Dakota family donates 20.5 acres to expand park drawing 200,000 visitors

Jeff and Tammie Broin have announced their donation of 20.5 acres to Sioux Falls. This land will be added to Great Bear Recreation Park for conservation. Currently, there are no immediate plans for recreational facilities on the new land. The donation also requires approval from the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Board and City Council. This gift aligns with community goals for enhanced outdoor spaces and habitats.
