Zydus Lifesciences Q2 net profit falls 26.6% to Rs 925.5 crore

Zydus Lifesciences reported a net profit of ₹925.5 crore for the September quarter, which declined by 26.6%. The company's revenue from operations increased by 29.2% to ₹7,909.6 crore during the same period. Total expenses rose significantly to ₹6,806.6 crore, impacting profitability. The pharmaceuticals business contributed 83% to overall sales, with revenue from India formulations at ₹1,884.4 crore. North America formulations reported revenue of ₹3,314.5 crore, highlighting strong global performance.
