Palantir’s Alex Karp buys 37,000 Swedish forest for $22M; why hunters are barred

Alex Karp acquired 15,000 hectares of forest land in Härjedalen, Sweden, through his company Cladonia Skog AB. The purchase was confirmed by Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, which previously owned the forest land. Hunters in the area received notification about the termination of their leasing agreements after the sale. A representative from Cladonia expressed commitment to preserving the natural landscape and its habitats.
