At 23, Harita Bhadra wins Asian Games 200m bronze by 0.01 sec

Harita Bhadra secured a bronze medal in the women's 200m event at the 2026 Asian Games. She clocked 23.20 seconds, finishing just ahead of Abigeirufuka Ido of Japan. Bhadra's achievement marked India's first women’s 200m podium finish since 2018. Alongside athletics, she runs a handmade jewellery label called Dagina and is a sports science graduate. Bhadra aims to create a special piece inspired by her medal-winning experience in Japan.
