Udupi man dies by suicide at govt hospital after being thrased by girlfriend's kin

Pradeep, a 27-year-old man from Nairkodi, was assaulted by the family of his girlfriend after an alleged altercation. The incident occurred on October 27, when several of the girl's brothers attacked him, causing severe injuries. After being hospitalized due to the assault, Pradeep expressed his distress and received threats from the girl's family. On October 30, Pradeep was found to have died by suicide in the hospital's toilet.
