Trump to redevelop 106-year-old DC golf course, plans 15-month closure

Donald Trump has announced plans to close Washington’s 106-year-old East Potomac Golf Links for 15 months from November 15 for a redevelopment designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio. The announcement comes amid a legal battle, with a federal judge halting tree removal. Trump says the revamped public course could host major international golf tournaments.
