Sebi revamps Document Number Verification System, adds subject matter as mandatory field

Sebi has revamped its Document Number Verification System, making a letter’s subject matter mandatory for authentication. The upgraded system aligns with Sebi’s E-Office format and lets recipients verify physical letters, notices and show-cause notices issued by the regulator.
