Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have made a generous donation of $900,000 toward the expansion of Pūlama Ola Kauaʻi. This initiative is dedicated to helping those facing homelessness or instability in their housing arrangements recover from health challenges. The funding will facilitate the creation of a new village featuring 18 housing units designed for medical respite, improving healthcare access and aiding transitions to permanent housing.
