Odisha homemaker farms 25-30 tonnes of fish yearly, earns Rs 7-10 lakh

After observing the vast potential at Hirakud Reservoir, Sujata Bhuyan from Odisha transformed her life through fish farming. Engaging with the Fisheries Department for training, she turned her vision into reality, producing about 25 to 30 metric tonnes of fish annually. Her remarkable achievements caught the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who shared her inspiring story in Mann Ki Baat, showcasing the significance of support in nurturing rural businesses.
