‘Grabbed hair, tore shirt’: Patient attacks doctor, hospital staff in Punjab

Rajatpal Singh, a patient at a Kharar hospital, allegedly assaulted a medical officer and damaged property. The violent incident occurred during treatment when Singh attacked the doctor and a nurse. Hospital staff intervened and subdued Singh before police intervention. Following the incident, the Punjab Civil Medical Services Association called for improved security measures. A deadline was set for November 12 to enhance safety at sub-divisional hospitals in Punjab.
