Former NFL linebacker Shawne Merriman has been ordered to pay $4 million to the family of Kimberly Fattorini, a Playboy employee who died of an accidental overdose in 2017. A jury found Merriman and three other defendants liable in 2025. Fattorini’s parents had alleged drugging and sexual assault, claims Merriman denied as baseless.
