Cleo AI users to receive $15.8 million in refunds over hidden fees, misleading cash promises

Starting October 27, more than 2.1 million Cleo AI customers will receive refunds as part of a federal initiative. The Federal Trade Commission is redistributing over $15.8 million to consumers who were charged for cash advances. This decision follows a settlement concerning deceptive advertising by Cleo AI. Customers eligible for the refunds will receive notifications via email and will have payments processed through PayPal within a designated timeframe.
