Bank of America CEO says it spent millions to contain damage from Mythos AI agent

Bank of America is ramping up its defenses against sophisticated cybersecurity threats posed by advanced AI technologies like Anthropic’s Mythos. To bolster its software security efforts, the bank has recruited 1,000 contractors and has a dedicated team of 3,000 tech employees. CEO Brian Moynihan acknowledged that while the immediate costs will be high, they are a temporary necessity.
