Texas homeowner wins $33K from HOA after 3-year fight over rental ban

Texas homeowner Elizabeth Luna has won $33,243 after a nearly three-year legal battle with her HOA over rental restrictions, tenant interference and a blocked property sale. A Bexar County judge ordered the Oaks Northwest HOA to pay $20,743.39 in damages and attorney’s fees, while HOA president Terri Thomure was ordered to pay $12,500 for interfering with Luna’s rental contract.
