Seven years on, India’s road safety law yields zero prosecutions

According to Section 198A of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019, designated authorities, contractors, consultants and concessionaires responsible for road design, construction and maintenance and introduced penalties in the event of death or disability due to lapses.
