MP cabinet approves 20% horizontal reservation for former Agniveers in uniformed services

The cabinet of Madhya Pradesh has sanctioned horizontal reservations for ex-Agniveers aiming to join various uniformed services, such as the police force. The initiative promises substantial investments in education, health care, and infrastructure statewide. By the 2026-27 academic year, approximately 76,000 guest teachers will be recruited to address the existing vacancies in schools.
