More Amazon Prime customers to get up to $200 from October 1

The Federal Trade Commission has broadened eligibility criteria for Amazon Prime customer refunds related to misleading practices. Customers enrolled or attempted to cancel between specific dates may receive refunds automatically. Amazon will issue refunds up to $200, significantly increasing previously capped amounts. Eligible Prime customers do not need to take any action to receive their payments. Refunds will be sent by April 2027 through checks or electronic payments.
