Labourer’s son turns Rs 87,000 drone prototype into Rs 3.5 crore Army project

Sarvesh Sharma, an ambitious computer engineering student, has been awarded a remarkable Rs 3.5 crore grant aimed at innovating a radar-evading drone specifically designed for surveillance operations by the Indian Army in high-altitude terrains. This exciting development follows his recent achievement of fourth place in a national drone competition. With IIT Roorkee's backing, the project is slated for incubation and development over the next 20 months.
