Brian May helped plant 101,000 trees and shrubs on 157 acres in Dorset

Brian May's initiative took root with a single oak tree planted by Bere Regis villagers in 2013. Over the ensuing ten years, more than 101,000 trees and shrubs transformed the landscape. To foster a rich ecosystem, wildflower areas were established, benefiting various wildlife, including birds and insects. Photographer Linda Lamon meticulously documented this evolution, showcasing the area as it transitioned into a thriving woodland habitat by 2023.
